At Tandem Travel, sustainability is not just a policy – it’s a promise.
For the past two travel seasons, we have been setting aside €2 from every travel package to support local environmental initiatives. Thanks to our travelers, we are proud to share the sweet results: Tandem Travel has officially adopted a beehive through the organization Истински мед (“Real Honey”) here in Bulgaria. 
Why bees? These tiny creatures are among nature’s most important pollinators, vital for biodiversity and the balance of our ecosystems. Yet, beekeepers in Bulgaria face many challenges, from climate change to declining bee populations. By supporting them, we are helping to protect nature’s harmony and ensuring future harvests.
This initiative is also in line with our Travelife certification, which recognizes our ongoing efforts in sustainable tourism. But we wanted to go one step further – to make sustainability part of the experience we share with you.
From now on, the Tandem Travel guest will receive a very special souvenir from Bulgaria: a small jar of honey from our very own adopted hive. More than just a gift, it’s a taste of the land you visited, a story of care for nature, and a symbol of the values we believe in.Together, with your journeys, we are making travel more meaningful – for people, for culture, and for nature.
